01 - The 1963 group of fellows from the fellowship course in food science and applied nutrition. Members came from 6 disciplines and 16 countries
02 - Miss Narula (India) demonstrates the quantities of food recommended and those actually available. Most of the London end is theoretical work but includes some practical work such as that on diets

06 - Dr Malaviya (India). Miss Arora (India) get to know their family in Igbo-Ora village. before the dietary survey the fellows are encouraged to get to know their families well
07 - Dr Soyuer (Turkey) and Miss Canto (Philippines) in the 1964 course weigh the ingredients for a soup before it is cooked.
08 - Mr Olusanya (Nigeria) weighs the quantity of meat sold by a vendor
09 - Dr Soemilah (Indonesia) examines a child during the survey
10 - Dr Molaviya (India) measures the haemoglobin in a MRC grey wedge photometer. Simple field lab techniques are also taught
11 - Modern and ancient ways of calculating. Following the survey 2 weeks are spent calculating and writing the reports. Miss Mo (Korea) used an abacus and Mrs Elumeze (Nigeria) an electric calculating machine in computing the contents of the diets they have measured
12 - Miss Efiong (Nigeria) examines a display of varieties of maize. Following the survey the fellows examine improved methods of farming
13 - Dr Goksu (Turke), Miss Rao (India), Miss Lu Oi (Malaysia) and Dr Turkvan (Turkey) examine experimental forms of rice
14 - Miss Ariphan ( Thailand) and Mr Bida (Nigeria) see methods of drying plantains for storage in a village
15 - Fellows see improved varieties of maize that are undergoing trials
16 - Fellows learn about Ibadan school feeding programme
17 - Dr Qureshi (Pakistan), Dr Goksu (Turkey) examine a demonstration egg production unit
18 - Dr Kanawati (Syria) at a research station where methods of artificial semination on livestock are being studied
19 - Mr Hamza (Nigeria) attends the under 5s clinic in Ilesha to see practical methods of nutrition work in small children
20 - Final seminar, Dr Sai, FAO African representative is in the chair. The seminar hears and discusses the individual reports of the fellows
