Description
Papers relating to the work of Donald Reid, Director of the Department of Medical Statistics & Epidemiology, 1961-1977, including correspondence, draft papers, addresses and material relating to his role on the Royal College of Physicians Air Pollution Committee. Reid was actively involved in a number of research projects in the department most notably the effects of air pollution on health, including the study of chronic bronchitis in the Civil Service (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/01), health survey of the G.P.O (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/02) and migrant studies (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/03), as well as his contribution to the Whitehall Study.
