Description
Register of all Whitehall Study subjects who received X-ray examinations by Dr Brett, dating from 1967-1974. Register includes surname and serial number of those who were examined, as well as those who missed their appointment. X-ray abnormalities were categorised as essential and inessential with the abnormality listed (e.g. shadowing, lesion, unfolded aorta). During the initial survey, participants with recorded abnormalities had their address recorded in order to be notified of the results. An annotated instruction sheet of the procedure for x-ray examination and follow-up is also included.
