The majority of the material was collected as part of EC Concerted Action on Assessment of AIDS/HIV Prevention Strategies' and features photographic prints of poster, magazine, television and ephemera from various AIDS public health campaigns. These images for the most part hold a caption providing a translation of the campaign tagline and theme, advertising and commissioning agencies, date, target audience and country.
