Description
J Bolton has told him that Ross has found his letters difficult to read and apologises. Congratulates Ross on his knighthood and he asked Ross to support his candidature for the post entomologist in Nyasaland (now Malawi) although he would prefer to remain in Mauritius because he feels that there is no future for him there. Although it was six weeks since he applied for a post in the Department of Agriculture he has had no reply. Gives the current expenditure on the anti-malaria work and says that too much dependence is being placed on the distribution of quinine
