TitleLetter from Charles Prestwood LLucas, the Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office to Ross, with copy
Date6/7/1903
DescriptionSays that ML Taylor had seen and agreed to Sir CA King-Harman's dispatch, with exception of the final paragraph and it was appreciative of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine's work. The Malaria Committee of the Royal Society was consulted in connection with the proposal that a commission should investigate the success of the School's work and that WT Prout's derogatory comments were incidental so Ross has no charge to reply to. If Ross wishes to discuss the matter further he can make an appointment to see RL Antrobus at the Colonial Office.
