Description
WT Prout's letter to the Colonial Office which was read to the Malaria Committee of the Royal Society was only received on 25 May and there was no time to notify members. He maintains that , as the documents were confidentially read to the committee, they had not been made public and they were read in connection with a proposal that was put to the Royal Society and the report of the Malaria Committee has been accepted by the Malaria Committee. He will write to the council about Ross' views.
