Title
Letter from Edwin Harold Brown, Civil Surgeon of Purnea, to Ross
Date
07/09/1898
Description
Brown writes that in his investigations into "kala dukh" in April he found few parasites in most cases and they were more numerous in the recent infections. He adds that as afar as he could see "kala dukh" was nothing more than intense malaria, but natives differentiated between it and malaria. He also hopes Ross continues work on malaria and regrets that at present he is too busy to meet Ross.
