Description	McCarrison cites two cases in which men wrote saying that their quinine treatment was not continued after their discharge from hospital despite written instructions to the medical officers of their units and adds that one was charged with being absent without leave because of a relapse when he should have rejoined his draft for France (Ross/173/29/ 46 & Ross/173/29/47). He asks that the regulations should be amended.
