Description
He has sent some reprints on the spread of bacteria by insects to Ross and while he was in London, Manson showed him Ross' preparations and sent him a copy of Ross' report on the cultivation of proteosoma, and that he had concluded that the mode of infection might be through the mosquito's bite. He is mentioning Ross' work in a paper which he is writing on the part played by insects in the distribution of disease and warns Ross against R Koch who tends to plagiarise others work without acknowledgment. Suggests that young mosquitoes might inherit infection from their parents.
