All discussion of his work on immunity to malaria and its treatment by mercury was stifled at the First International Malaria Congress in Rome. Encloses a newspaper cutting and a translation of it which comments upon this, and that he decided not to publish Ross' letter about GB Grassi as Grassi is now dead
