DescriptionHe showed D Bruce his work before he left Uganda and he found trypanosomes in the cerebro-spinal fluid of 70% of patients with sleeping sickness and sometimes in the blood as well. D Bruce has written to the Royal Society asking them to publish his premlinary report and speculates whether a streptococcal infection could make a man more susceptible to trypanosome infection
