Asks where Watson heard that the Italians are doubting the use of quinine and that Watson should correct his own proofs as his book will not come out until after Ross', which will be ready in a few weeks time. He will write a preface for Watson's book and asks him to make sure that the proofs are correct as his manuscript was a muddle
