Title
Letter from David Thomson to Ross
Date
1/2/1916
Description
Regrets the cost of a coloured plate for the article on amobae but says that the staining will not show up in monotone. If colour is 'prohibitive' black and white illustrations will have to suffice. Thanks Ross for arranging for warm clothing to be sent to him and sends his congratulations on the engagement of Ross' two daughters. The camp is still dirty although improvements have been made but the provision of sterile sand for cleaning cutlery is from filthy sand from the foreshore
