Description
He did not apply tests for pigment in his specimens as this would have destroyed them and argues that they must be pathological as he has only found them in particular species after they have fed on malaria infected blood and they show distinct signs of growth. There is very little malaria in Kherwana, the inhabitants will not allow experiments and when he inquired how long his posting would last the Principal Medical Officer Bombay said it would be until the Commander in Chief ordered his removal. He is hopeful that the Maharana of Dholpur will apply for his services to investigate malaria and if this does not happen he might get a residency surgeon's post or be allowed to return to Secunderabad
