Description
The experiment with psorosperms appears to have been a failure but when he took over the Civil Hospital he discovered two cases of malaria. He speculates on the possibility that the infection is caused by the bite of the mosquito and says that he has 'several very intelligent assistant surgeons' to help him. AF Dobson is coming to England on leave and will call on Manson to 'thunder on' about the state of Indian sanitation, he asks Manson to assist him.
