Description
Unable to send Manson specimens of the crescent-sphere flagella metamorphosis because he has not had a crescent case for some time and he dare not try experimental infections on a large scale as the authorities would 'be down on him'. He adds that, although he find gregarines and psorosperms in mosquito larvae and pupae, gregarines do not occur in adult mosquitoes and a few psorosperms only occur in newly hatched mosquitoes but he has discovered that psorosperms are in some way released into the discarded pupa case. He discusses methods of investigating them and that the departmental heads in all the Indian presidencies are opposed to microscopic work and progress in principle. Sent a report to R Harvey for review.
