Description
He has examined some 100 patients with high fever and enormous spleens at Naxalbari but only five or six had malaria parasites and he was unable to examine their faeces. He examined mosquitoes but found no coccidia and thinks that the Terai disease must by ankylostomaisis. Filariae are also present and he was led to a case of filariasis by discovering them in a mosquito. If CW Daniels and another man are coming to study under him they must come at once as he intends to return to England the following February or March, if necessary retiring to do this and that he is annoyed because he missed meeting P L Simond.
