Description
He had to leave Calcutta and come to Kurseong to rest as he was ill with overwork. He feels that an account of his research will require a book, not an article and fears that R Harvey will insist on all his research being published in Transactions of the Medical Officers of India, He is leaving the following day to investigate a disease called kalajohr which he thinks will be malaria and summarise his work between 4 June and 13 August 1898
