Description
Asks for an explanation from Ross of his irregular application to be transferred to the Civil Medical Department and there is a note from the Principal Medical Officer Secunderabad also asking Ross for an explanation. Draft of letter on reverse from Ross saying that he wrote to the Secretary of the Civil Surgeon-General Madras prior to applying officially and had done so previously without reprimand.
