Description
The correspondence concerns the formation and work of a nutrition committee to make recommendations for the improvement of nutrition and public health in St Vincent.
The reports by the Senior Medical Officer, Agricultural Superintendent and Inspector of Schools concern 'the supply of milk to under nourished school children' and 'the importance of proper feeding'.
Also contains a despatch from Downing Street to the Governor of the Windward Islands concerning the erection of a shed to provide breakfasts to school children in Kingstown, 31 December 1938.
