Admission record, identification notes, medical history, examination notes, progress, treatment, blood investigation, faeces investigation, urine investigation, photographs and graphs. Some include x-ray records, nursing records. There are also reports of electrocardiograms.
Research was carried out under the auspices of the Henry Lester Institute for Medical Research. The aim of the study was to see the effects of patients deficient in vitamin B1 and whether they were suffering from beriberi. |
