Description | Collected material gathered from the UK that represented HIV/AIDS prevention work undertaken by national, local and voluntary bodies in the late 1980s to early 1990s. The majority of material relates to the work of the UK government department, Health Education Authority (HEA), that Kaye Wellings, the lead UK investigator of the EC Concerted Actions programme had previously worked for, with information of national AIDS prevention advertising campaigns and evaluation fieldwork conducted for the HEA by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB). Papers include numerous examples of AIDS prevention material in the form of leaflets, booklets, stickers, postcards and reports along with datasets and questionnaires of attitudes and knowledge of HIV/AIDS recorded from 1987-1995. |
