Description
Documents chiefly relating to the design and evaluation of HEA prevention and education initiatives on HIV/AIDS containing documents created and received by Kaye Wellings, who was employed by HEA as a Senior Research Officer at the time. These include minutes, memoranda, invoices, strategy documents and evaluative reports on HEA HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns such as: a copy of the AIDS Summary Fact Sheet; a 'Proposal for research to evaluate the BMP/HEA TV campaign- Autumn 1989' by Research Surveys of Great Britain Limited; report on 'ROI Session on Abstinence held at HEA' held on 30th June 1993 and an operational plan for 1992/4.
Material includes examples of adverts used within the HEA campaigns; press cuttings, booklets, and transcripts of radio interviews including an extract from the BBC Today programme, dated 18 February 1988 where they interviewed the Director of the World Health Organisation's AIDS Programme, Dr Jonathan Mann relating to the key message of the 1988 AIDS campaign.
