Description | Public health education campaign and evaluation material collected produced and collected from Belgium. Due to the political and social divisions of Belgium, public health efforts were planned and executed by the strong regional authorities; Flanders, Walloon and Brussels. HIV/AIDS education material was produced by various regional bodies in the principal languages of the state: Flemish, French and German and reflects the arrangement of the material that is chiefly based on the language of the material.
Public education material includes booklets, leaflets, reports, newsletters, stickers, condom packs, books and a graphic novel from state and non-governmental sources. The evaluation material contains interview notes from individuals visited within the research trips by Kaye Wellings (1990) and Claire Gibbons (1993) and also evaluative reports on social behaviours and attitudes relating to HIV within Belgium. |
