DescriptionCorrespondence, minutes, memoranda and draft and final reports for the Drug Policy Review Group which Virginia Berridge was a member from 1988-1996. The group acted as a think tank on the 'economic, legal, social, medical and ethical factors of drug policy, and to recommend a future policy framework. Alongside regular meetings the group produced reports and briefed the press and politicians about drug policy. The papers include a number of reports produced by the group including from Virginia Berridge herself and include a report for the European Commission, entitled ' An Examination of the Economic, Legal, Social, Medical and Ethical Factors of Drug Policy in the UK and the Netherlands (1989).
