Description
Papers relating to case control study on effect of father's occupation and social class on higher-grade Whitehall Study volunteers who died of coronary heart disease. The work was a joint enterprise between London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and University College London. Papers relate to initial testing phase of the study with hundred birth certificates initially collected and encoded. Papers includes photocopies of birth certificates attached to Whitehall Study index cards; computer readouts and calculations and correspondence regarding data collection of subject's birth certificates.
