Description
Advertisements (in various forms such as newspaper, magazine and posters) relating to AIDS and sexual health public health campaigns. The file includes photocopies of early UK newspaper stories about AIDS epidemic in the UK from the Sun, Daily Express, The Times and the Daily Telegraph. The majority of the public health campaign material was produced by the Health Education Authority (HEA), which was the official body in charge of public health education from 1988. The file includes full page magazine advertisements by the HEA in publications such as Marie Claire, Men's Health and GQ. The file also includes an advertisement from the Terrence Higgins Trust with the tagline ' How much would you tell on a first date?".
