Description
ACT UP is an advocacy group that works to improve the impact of people living with AIDS through influencing legislation, policies, medical research and treatment with an aim to end the AIDS crisis.
The Treatment Action Group (TAG) is an HIV/AIDS activist organisation that fights to find a cure for AIDS and to ensure that all people living with HIV receive the necessary treatment, care and information they need to save their lives.
These papers mainly comprise research and academic papers, reports and proposals from TAG and ACT UP from talks or conferences on research and treatment of HIV/AIDS between 1989-1994. Also Includes a paper by Sonnabend for a talk to ACT UP at the invitation of L. Kramer and another report by Sonnabend on the 'Fact and speculation about the cause of AIDS'.
