| Description | Sonnabend worked for the Bureau of Venereal Disease Control for New York City's Department of Health from around 1977. During this time Sonnabend also volunteered at the Gay Men's Health Project, a clinic specializing in venereal diseases affecting gay men.
These records include administrative correspondence and staff memos, research grant applications, newsletters plus handwritten and type notes on sexually transmitted diseases.
