Description
Contains patient notes of Muslim pilgrims travelling home to Indonesia from Mecca (Jeddah to Jakarta) with an epidemic of meningitis, treated by Sonnabend in 1959. Includes lists of patient's diagnosis and remarks of their condition and a pilgrim report
Also includes early testimonials and reference letters from the University of Witwatersrand, The Hampstead General Hospital and Neasden Hospital in support of Sonnabend's award for an internship. It also includes a letter addressed to Sonnabend while he worked at Hampstead General Hospital and patient notes written by Sonnabend working at Neasden Hospital in 1960, plus an application to Institut National de la Sante, Paris, 1972.
