He expects the health of the Gold Coast (now Ghana) will improve gradually with improved housing and sanitation and he is arranging for statistics of morbidity and mortality of Europeans to be collected. He hopes to meet Ross before he returns to the Gold Coast (now Ghana) at the end of November.
