Description
As the British Medical Journal has turned his letter down on grounds of length, he is sending it to the Lancet because he does not want to shorten it. Discusses his report on Sierra Leone which is taking longer than anticipated and asks Ross if he is in a hurry for it. Sir AL Jones has offered him free passage to Jamaica, provided that he gives a lecture on a week's observations and he has written to Sir AL Jones to accept but has warned him that he cannot give a thorough lecture.
