DescriptionStates that Ross showed him living specimens of grey, brindled and dapple-winged mosquitoes pointing out the characteristics attitude of the dapple-winged ones which were Anopheles. Ross also showed him zygotes in a mosquito's stomach soon after his arrival in Calcutta in December 1898.
