Description
Alcock informs Ross that he does not know of anyone who has worked on the mosquitoes in Bengal, although he recalls that some years ago Ranking made some observations, but he does not know if these were published. Neither can he find photographic apparatus for microphotography. He also suggests that Harden of the Geological Survey may be of help, as his predecessor had been an authority on the subject.
