Description	He is having the lists of research proposals copied for circulation to the Advisory Committee to the Tropical Disease Research Fund, in the middle of the year it was estimated that there would be £4000 for research purposes at the end of the year but the sum has not been exactly worked out. Some will probably be kept for emergencies and the research allocation will probably be between £3000-£3500 and that he will mention the matter to the India Office so that they will not be slighted but he doubts if they will have anything to propose
