Description
Describes a reconnaissance he made on a coffee estate and the malaria cases he found there. He went down with malaria two days after his return which he thinks he must have caught when he visited the coffee estate and this enables him to calculate the period of incubation, the numbers of parasites in his blood and in the air. He found no mosquito larvae in the water at the coffee estate but he did find a parasite which he had not seen before.
