DescriptionRoss has given water in which mosquitoes have laid their eggs and then died to an Indian, Lutchman and he has developed a slight fever but has no parasites in his blood. Discusses the effect of quinine on malaria parasites which are in the blood as opposed to those unaffected by quinine in the mosquito's stomach and adds that CW Owen expects government opposition to the Maharajah of Patiala's research scheme.
