Description
He accepts the BMA's ruling on the ethics of patenting medical discoveries and will abandon his claim to the Royal Commission on Awards to Inventors. Suggests instead that Cox and the Secretary of the British Science Guild should send the report of the Joint Committee on Awards for Medical Discovery to the Prime Minister and ask for an interview. Copies of the report have also been sent to the Medical Committee of the House of Commons and that Sir H Craik had advised him to press on with the scheme
