Documentation relating to UNAIDS campaign to expand access of antiretroviral medicine to middle and low income countries, in conjunction with the agreement in the World Trade Organisation Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), the Doha Declaration on TRIPS and Public Health. The papers provide updates on the '3 by 5 campaign' and background information on the case for scaling up access to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) through reports, articles and email correspondence on the subject. File includes statements from UNAIDS and the UN Secretary General on the subject along with reports and booklets on antiretroviral medication from campaign group, Act Up, Medecins Sans Frontieres and a report by the Centre for Social Science Research.
