Peter Piot as head of UNAIDS, served on the Global Fund board from 2001-2008 and was a key participant in lobbying for it's creation and also the organisation and structure of the Fund. The papers contain meeting notes, statements, reports and correspondence from these negotiations with key stakeholders such as the European Union, United States and United Nation agencies. As well as board minute meetings, correspondence, articles and newspaper cuttings, reports and notes taken whilst Piot served on the Board.
