DescriptionMaterial relating to the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Scotland from the Scottish government, regional health boards, academic institutions and the voluntary sector, due to the nature of the Scottish epidemic many of the papers and services relate to HIV transmission through drug abuse. The majority of the material comes from the Scottish Home and Health Department and Scottish Health Education Group with papers relating to monitoring and research on the epidemic and campaign material particularly targeting young people. Material also includes campaign material from the Scottish AIDS Monitor and health service annual reports from the Lothian Health Board and the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.
