Description
Papers relating to the Health Education Authority, a government body created on 1 April 1987, as part of the National Health Service whose responsibilities were extended on 26 October 1987 to include the prevention of HIV and AIDS through public health education and health promotion. The HEA alongside their promotional campaigns also produced evaluative reports on campaign effectiveness and particular at risk groups. The papers also include research papers, teaching packs, reports and strategic plans, magazines and newsletters.
