Description	There has been a diminution in the mosquitoes in Sierra Leone but with the few men available it was impossible to stamp them out entirely. The drainage scheme should improve the state of affairs if mosquitoes are kept down until it is completed but the majority of the poorer householders in Freetown and Grassfields are uncooperative.
