Title
Letter from Matthew Nathan, Acting Governor, Sierra Leone to Ross
Date
20/8/1899
Description
Thanks Ross for showing him a letter from Lord Lister and an article in the British Medical Journal. It should soon be clear whether Ross' discovery can be put to practical use and if mosquitoes breed in swamps that one at Wilberforce would have to be filled in to make the place healthy which would be very expensive but if they breed in puddles and water containers the cost will be less.
