48 - Letters to Ross on malaria
Ref No
GB 0809 Ross/48/42
Level
Item
Title
Letter from George Michael James Giles
Date
17/9/1898
Description
Says that Ross is collecting strong evidence in support of the mosquito-malaria theory although he though Manson was over hasty in suggesting it but that it does not explain the recurrent attacks in non-malarious regions and quotes his own experiences. He is in disagreement with L Rogers who believes that malaria in Assam is different from malaria elsewhere.
