Letter from James Charles Gordon Carmichael to Ross enclosing a letter from Major Basu

Description
Carmichael writes that he has asked Major Basu to give Ross every assistance and encloses a letter from Major Basu. Ross has written a note at the top of the letter, dated 7th December 1921 stating that, "This Major Basu J.M.S refused to allow me to examine malaria cases in his regimental hospital, on account of the plague scare."
