Description
He has been instructed to write privately in answer to Macdonald's application to the malaria work in Ireland to tell him that he can not leave his specialist sanitary work, but that he can suggest that Macdonald applies to his local commander and asks him if he could do some malaria work as well. He adds that they have not been able to cure malaria permanently and advises Macdonald to watch for cases of indigenous malaria as there have been several cases in England.
