DescriptionThe pigmented cells seem to grow and fill with a clear liquid until about six or seven days after mosquitoes have fed on infected blood, then they burst and their contents disappear, and that after each meal of infected blood a fresh crop of cells appears. He discusses the effect of staining on the cells which he thinks are coccidia, he is preparing specimens for Manson and he has discovered that he is bursting the cells when putting them under a cover glass and that by the eleventh day they are huge.
