DescriptionDiscusses Manson's objections to his theory that gregarines in mosquitoes are associated with malaria and describes his future plans for investigation. He says that the reason given for opposing the Patiala scheme was financial which was 'utter nonsense' and that he intends to write an article on staining for the Indian Medical Journal. He encloses two articles about E Lawrie which he wrote for the Pioneer and adds that he offered to demonstrate the malaria parasite to Lawrie who sent 'a silly reply' and that P Hehir refused to demonstrate the cholera vibrio to him. He says that Bangalore is very dirty due to maladministration but that he intends 'to make something indeed out of this for sanitation in India' as he has been given 'almost unlimited powers'.
